What makes the Cincinnati Tour Guide so highly trained you ask?!? Every Guide is put through a rigorous introductory training on beer, local breweries, and (the boring but necessary part) bus driving. After that, all Guides meet 1-2 times every month at a different brewery and receive a tour from an owner or brewer. This is how the Guides stay up-to-date on each brewery’s growth, special events, and new and upcoming beers. This allows your Guides to share the knowledge to tour guests along with throwing in some corny jokes!
Additionally, the Craft Connection Tour Guides brew beer at a different brewery once a quarter. Learning about craft beer via a book is convenient and effective. However, having the opportunity to learn about the craft beer production process WHILE brewing, is a whole new level of education. All Tour Guides learn a vast amount of beer knowledge. This helps better educate the tour guests so they can understand and respect Cincinnati craft beer and craft beer in general.
